Forgot to post my international roaming experience here. About 3 weeks ago, was in Detroit for the weekend and decided to drive over into Windsor, Ontario to hit some of the hockey stores. As I was talking to Canadian Border Control agent, received the text message saying "Welcome to Canada". Phone registered on Rogers showing 3G.
Speeds were very good. Faster than I remember AT&T 3G being about 2 years ago. There was only 1 time it slipped into Edge and Siri struggled. Otherwise used multiple apps, Siri, iMessage, maps, Facebook, Twitter with no problems.
Interestingly, I did receive a call from a friend in the USA while at dinner. We talked for about 10 minutes. Bill came last week, no charge for the call. The length did show on the bill, but charge showed 0. I'm on iPhone 5s. Data also showed no charge for just shy of 100mb (which it should have been free anyway). Wondering why the call was free?
