Another data point - we're just back from a stay (Ambassador level), booked for cheapest room using weekend 2 for 1 voucher.

We were upgraded automatically to a Duplex Suite, which was really cool. Lower level was a sitting room and bathroom with shower. Upper level was bedroom with adjoining second bathroom which had a bath.

After checking in, we were escorted to the bar for a complimentary welcome glass of port. Welcome gift was a small box of local chocolates.

Location was perfect, with everything we wanted to see within walking distance.

Overall, really liked this property, the upgrade and the city. ^
