has no annual fee and can be churned multiple times per year. Start by reading the Wikipost at the top of that thread. Because
the Marriott card gives a free night cat 1-5 certificate every year you pay the $85 annual fee. And I've been able to use those for $150++ hotels at BUF airport when there was nothing else cheaper either, a $200++ hotel near OGG airport on Maui (which was btw a much more central location for east Maui sights than any of the other points hotels on the island) when there was nothing else cheaper either, etc. So I would think if you do hotel stays each year you could find a use for the free night cert (even with the cat 5 cap) that would much more than pay for the $85 annual fee.
