The plane had an engine issue and was taken out of service (or the fix will take too long).
I was told that we are currently waiting for the plane incoming from Tokyo to land, be cleaned and prepared as our replacement plane.

Just a few more questions:

Regarding the compensation: How does this work? Is creating an issue at flysas.com the correct way to do so? I havenīt recieved a response with a tracking number or something like this.

Regarding the flight itself: Are there any tips of how to get an upgrade? I heard a lot of J passengers being rebooked with FI via KEF or with SAS via IAD, so there must be some empty seats available. And, if we use the plane from Tokyo, its a 343 which has 12 J seats more than our broken 333 ...
The SK assistants in the lounge just told me, that no J seat is available at all (even for purchase).

Our status at the moment: We "enjoyed" some burgers and are back in the SAS lounge to get some (non alcoholic) drinks to wash the burgers down ...
