I've asked on the AA Forum about which is a better service on this route, AA or BA, but not been able to get a clear answer.

On this route, AA operate the 77W, and from what I've heard is an excellent aircraft.

BA use a 747 on this route - and the cabin is probably going to be dated compared to AA's 77W?

What are AA's hand and hold luggage allowances like? Are they strict? I will be taking a large, heavy rucksack on board with me, and BA have never knocked me back with it.

Does AA give a blanket or pillow on board like BA?

Does AA give you free soft and acoholic drinks on board?

I will be flying economy.
