Just keep checking.... though at this time be greatful that you got a room. We just came back from a conference in Orlando and wanted to stay at Regency, right by convention center. DH signed up a month prior to conference so didn't have options for ANY hotel rooms at conf rate (though not terribly discounted 'cause it's the largest conv in orlando w/37K attendee... you get idea. So I had made back up plans and watched... First night did open up on points about week out and points & cash so grabbed that ('cause wanted stay credit). Next night was sold out and couldn't get to stay but got next 2 nights on award (didn't want to pay $400 night) and then other points and cash so it all worked out.
So Just be patient and see what happens.
