Called to cancel my Explorer card after Annual Fee posted. Was offered nothing, not even after specifically requesting a retention bonus. I was told that because I was offered $150 last year to keep the card, that's considered for the lifetime of the card.

Spent about $30k last year, paid off every month.

No problem - just applied for an AA credit card with 50k mile bonus and no fee. Guess Chase just didn't want my business anymore...
