In my mother tongue exclusivity implies the number of members in the subset to be small. This may not be true in English, in which case I apologize.

As far as I understand, many wealthy individuals find it important not only to have special things, but also that most people cannot have those same things. I'd guess this makes them feel special in some way but I am not part of the group, so this idea can be just a result of the reduced sample I contact with on a daily basis.

Example: I'd love to drive a 911 even if everyone did (let's ignore traffic and accidents). However, I'm confident that many of the current owners would go for something else if every car on the road was a 911.

You are again right that they are all exclusive. In this context I'd say that exclusive means not crowded (at all), calm and silent environment (this last one because I hate 99% of the background music I do not choose ).

All in all, I agree you should not have to guess anything, filling in these forms is boring enough already. They should just change the phrasing.
