Ok. No elite blocking - I get that especially since I'm a lowly Silver. I checked in right at T-24 using the mobile app to snag 22D (752-PS). Get to the office to print out the boarding pass and now notice 22E is unavailable. But 22F is open. Lots of other E+ seats available.

So is this some crazy strategy by someone taking the middle?
