I usually travel with my trusty B & R carry-on only but on rare occasions when I need extra space switch to a bigger bag (yes B & R as well)--which always turns out to be too big so I end up using my husband's bubble wrap to fill the gaps so stuff doesn't slide around. Can't win.
I was on Quirky last nite and found the best thing. It would let me fill the empty space completely and if I bought something to bring home, I could adjust the size so my bag still worked.
I think this is a great idea, but see for yourself. Take a look at:

Curious what other road warriors forced to check a bag think about this or what you do when you are in the same position (bag bigger than you need so stuff moves around or gets wrinkled). Any advice you can give me would be great.
