I don't know what they were doing the rest of the time. Other than one "less senior" FA who patrolled up and down the aisle collecting trash, the other 2 were missing until DigE player pickup time.
For an airline under assault by DL you'd think they'd put a little more effort into customer service. I hate to say it but I think they were just lazy. Oh well.
I know you know this is not acceptable or up to standard. You took the time to write it up here, please let Alaska know too. You're right, we aren't in a position to be slacking.
