At least from PDX, FAT flights are frequently "on sale" which means they can be had for around $100 each way if you choose your dates wisely and wait for a decent sale. As long as the California connections are available, I don't mind whether they maintain the PDX/SEA nonstop or not because I'm not going to pay $100 for a nonstop flight that will only net me around 700 EQMs. I just paid around $125 each way for a roundtrip from PDX that will net me a whopping 6200 EQMs (includes SEA-SAN double EQM/RDM bonus) by flying PDX-SEA-SAN-FAT....as long as AS maintains that SAN-FAT QX flight, I'll be a happy camper...it would actually be nice if they added LAX-FAT on QX (maybe to make-up for the lost SEA nonstop).
