Just want to express my concern on the discontinuance of the mid and late afternoon flights from Fresno to Seattle. Each flight has been full, so not sure the reasoning behind Alaska removing their afternoon flights from the schedule.
Those who fly Fresno know that it is difficult to make a decent connection anywhere. I have flown this route for years and now have to struggle to find alternatives. One, being the Delta connection in Salt Lake. Not the best. Another being a two and a half hour drive to Oakland or San Jose.
If others are finding this an inconvenience, I encourage you to join me in voicing your concern in hope that Alaska will again bring back the mid and late afternoon flights.
UA flies 16x daily flights in and out of FAT to 4 gateways, so not sure why you'd have to drive to OAK or SJC... They largely continue the FAT frequencies because they receive an Essential Air Service subsidy on most of the EMB flights.
