You can buy it for the next day, but you might have some issue with the ticket counter. I have found the JR East Travel Service Center in T1 does not have the best English proficiency, if you speak Japanese you will be fine.

My research... I can go into Narita, take the train back to NRT next day and purchase N'EX + Suica package. Do you agree?
What about taking a local express from Narita Citi to Tokyo?
