I wanted to report back as I found the luggage deposit area quite easily and it cost only 6 euros (good for 24 hours).

The train in was very fast and comfortable and I enjoyed my all-too-brief visit to Rome as well. I spent 2 hours walking around and 2 hours with a private car tour.
