And anyone who is going to try for this please note, this ends with your Dec statement. Regardless of when you got your card, only charges posting on or before your Dec statement count. So if yours posts on Dec 1, any charges posting after that date don't count. Even charges from late Nov that took a week to post.
That seems right.
Well, given that I'm already 10k of the way toward 40k, I might as well go for the 10k EQM and hope US and AA combine EQM. I think what I'll do is put another $20k on one card, and then wait a couple of statements to see if I get lucky and they combine them. If not, I'll just do another $10k. So, check this space around August or September for a data point!
