Yes, I can see how Google maps will make things easier. Historically, I tried to use logic. Coming from a city with a grid, if I made a wrong turn, I would try and go "around the block" and got hopelessly lost - repeatedly.
Logic doesn't work all that well when you have signs that say "(Name of someplace)" and "All other directions".
