You would have to use the AA card to buy a gift card that is PIN-enabled. They are sold in many places (grocery stores, drug stores, etc).
The AA card has a $450 annual fee, but it also has a $200 statement credit as part of sign up. So it's $250 for 100K miles. Up to you if it's worth it.
