Funny you would mention that. Years ago I had a connection in PHX during SuperBowl weekend. I was connecting to SLC.

Snowmobiling I had all the gear I needed for it in carry-on or wearing it including wearing my boots. If they had insisted my helmet was to large I would have worn it in flight.
