The Donauturm is 500m north of UN so it will have a very similar perspective. And an even higher viewpoint.
Sorry I forgot to respond to this and was just reminded by the spam from the previous post.

The weather last Sunday was beautiful! I went to the Danube Radio Tower (Donatorium). My only comment would be that the tower is almost TOO high and too far away from the city center so the pictures picked up a lot of haze when zooming in on the old town. The UN probably would be the best bet, but I don't think it was open on a Sunday. I still got some great shots though. What a beautiful city. Thank you for your advice!!
