Hi, sorry to ask a stupid question but a friend of mine who collects duty free bags (don't ask me why, I think it is stupid) and wants me to see if I can get him an empty duty free bag on my flight from SFO to Beijing since I am flying in First Class.

Is it bad form to ask for an empty bag? There is nothing in duty free that I am interested in purchasing. He thinks that because I am flying first class, they might be willing to give me an empty duty free bag but I just don't want to come off like an idiot. Thanks for any help.

PS, I am flying out on Wed morning, my return is on Cathay but he already have one of their duty free bags.
