I agree Wozza.
LHR to AUH is overpriced in comparison.
I REALLY wanted the AUH - SYD upgrade and in reality would have bid slightly more (around £650 was my limit) but the loads were so light in Pearl that I was pretty confident of bagging the upgrade.
I wasn't initially going to bid on the LHR - AUH leg but I figured as it was a day flight out of LHR and its the start of an epic adventure holiday I would go for slightly more than the minimum and if I got it great, if not so be it.
Checked in online to seat 1A on both sectors!
