you guys stop telling OP that he is at fault for this crime. ask yourself:

Have you ever been at a bar and left money on the bar when you went to piss, trusting the other bar patrons to not steal your money?

Have you ever been playing cards and left a few hundred in poker chips on the table when you went to piss, trusting the other players to not steal your chips?

have you ever left a quarter on the pool table at a bar to reserve the table and did not keep your eye on it, trusting others to not steal your quarter??

If you answered yes to any of the follwing questions, then you believe in the goodness of your fellow man just like op, and just like you, op felt he could leave all his money on his seat in his unlocked car while he did chores, etc. So don't judge op if you have done things just like him!!!
