I'm not too brand-conscious at all, but I just wish the LL Bean logo wasn't plastered on their gear. In the PNW unless you've got Arcteryx or a logo like that it's better to go below-the-line on branding
Heh, that would make me go for the LL Bean even more.
I've probably had mine for more than 10 years. Don't always use it by any means but use it a lot. Can fit all my electronics crap, other essentials and a change of clothes in it on case my roller has to be checked. It is pretty unstructured so if it isn't full it can compress to a really small are.
