The accidents that I have seen are just mind boggling.
In Sydney there are many bike lanes and traffic lights, but also some footpaths that are clearly marked that can be shared by bikes - of course, this means that the cyclists believe that they can ride their bikes on every footpath and often become aggressive when pedestrians don't leap out of their way. I won't budge for them.

Same for traffic fines, there's a very long thread somewhere about not paying speeding fines in Australia that flares up from time to time and becomes very heated.
