Hi, I'm seeing an inconsistent number of FS seats between different OneWorld award modes. When searching for 2 seats using Awards/OneWorld, I see "FS+" for a specific trans-atlantic AA flight. But I don't see availability for this flight on the AA website and, when I search using Awards/JL-OneWorld, I see only "FS1" for that flight, which indicates only 1 seat available. Which is correct? I put a call into AA on this, but there is huge wait due to bad weather.

According to the KVS documentation, "+" is supposed to mean "The requested number of seats is available". Is this not the case?

EDIT: I've been digging into this more and it seems the discrepancy is at least partially related to the fact that I was not searching a single segment. When I search just a single segment, the availability for this trans-atlantic flight match between the award modes (and the aa website).

I've discovered something else: contrary to advice I see on this forum, I seem to have found a case in which searching multiple segments at the same time is advantageous. When searching for FS on this trans-atlantic flight segment by itself, I see no seats (confirmed on OneWorld, JL-OneWorld, and aa.com). When I add a short connection on the US side, I see one FS seat become available on the trans-atlantic segment (confirmed on OneWorld, JL-OneWorld, and aa.com). How can this be explained?
