All this said, I expect the poster is correct that in most of the repressive regimes that happily arrest, jail, beat, and whip their own citizens for various moral offensives, tourists are unlikely to be. Still, many of us would prefer to not visit such places, out of moral distaste. That doesn't mean we expect anyone else to follow suit.

Also worth noting:
Who cares what they got arrested for! They got charged with indecent exposure, not for being gay. For christ sake, this was a gay cruise with 3000 other gay people on it. Somehow they were all just fine and didn't get charged with being gay.
As far as pastor goes, drive down to Northern Alabama and try going on gay cruise down the river. Let us know how that goes with local religious nuts. Few years ago Polk County Florida charged some couple under obscenity law for making home made porn videos. Lets boycott Florida because its dangerous for heteros to have sex there.

I wonder if those islanders would like to see witches and warlocks cruise boat parked. Or Justin Bieber appreciation club.
One thing I don't get is why you gay people insist that no-one can change someone being gay, yet you want to change other people's 1000 year old beliefs in to something else. Why?

here we go, the truth:
