Bycicle riders think they are above the law. In Chicago they ride all over the place with their helmets and fancy outfits, running lights and interfering with traffic. They don't get tickets. But there is much drama and hand wringing when one of these idiots gets run over by an SUV. Pay the fine.
Actually in Paris they have bike lanes even bike traffic lights. One can't bike on the side walk, but tell that to the motorcyclist or bikers.
The accidents that I have seen are just mind boggling.
