The only thing I can contribute to this debate is that having made a number of recent trips from TFS to LGW (God help me) the service has arrived 20 or even 30 minutes early (having left 10 minutes early in that case), and arrivals was empty. Last time I stayed at the new Hilton Hampton, which is even easier to walk to than the Sofitel at T5.
