I am not a big fan of serial refreshing at roughly the 24 hour mark, it often takes 5 seconds or more before the screen is ready to try again. I open a window with the NIST clock and click about one second prior, with communications and processing delays, that usually hits pretty spot on at t-24.
Alternatively, I use either my cell phone's network time or the time on my cable box as they are also synced up to the second.
