A 2,000yen all you can drink deal and they are courting foreigners? Brave move!

We occasionally have "barra libre" events in Spain. Inevitably, at these events the queues for the bar are epic (enormous). The maximum anyone can drink thus becomes self regulating. As a side note, I believe "barra libres"(all you can drink) are now banned in Barcelona/Catalonia but not elsewhere in Spain.

Am including this information to counter the nonsense peddled recently on NHK's "Cool Japan" about "all you can" services in Tokyo. Clueless contributor from France believed there were no self serve all you can eat buffets in his country, never mind that the word buffet is French (modern term is "buffet ŕ volonté"). And there was also the belief that there are no all you can drink deals in Europe (admittedly, Britain did ban the practice relatively recently http://www.parliament.uk/business/pu...r-alcohol-sale )
