Some people don't have a choice either because of home airport location or corporate travel arrangements @:-)

For those who need to (or choose to - they do have a good hard and soft product onboard) fly Delta MRing for the reasons stated in this thread could make sense (better access to seating, more miles earned at higher status, etc.)
