Older anecdotes are mixed with some soft landed and some not.

In more recent times, (last two years or so), those who have posted have indicated a soft landing irrespective of the Squiggles.

Minimum of 4 Qantas flights?

And from close experience, SWMBO Qualified SG in 2011 with four flights and 700+ SC's. With 0 flights on QF since she was Soft landed to PS in 2012 receiving a pack with a PS card, 3 month QP card and a QP Invitation. In 2013 she was 'comped PS', again with 0 flights (no QP card this time).
