Mostly the construction they've been doing around the hangar has made things pretty tight to begin with. But supposedly ATC asked them to push a little further than normal so that one of American's planes could get through. That's a rumor anyway. Either way, the wing walker should've been paying attention and stopped before they plowed into the other plane.
