I asked about waiving the US card's annual fee and was offered the Arrival card with no fee for life, or 2500 miles to keep the US card. I only spent around $5000 on the card. 5-6 days later I asked again and was offered a waived fee to keep the US card. However upon transferring to the person who would waive the fee, I was told, "No." It's annoying to get a conflicting answer like that.
