Can you hold off on purchasing a ticket until US joins oneworld on March 31 or at least until we get closer to that date? I'd hesitate to assume that US' policies on earning miles on partner flights will be the same as AA's in the period between March 31 and the merger of the two FF programs. At the present time, there are many ways in which the programs differ significantly (e.g., policies regarding one-way award tickets).
