Rate change - average nightly rate or first night rate?
I am looking at using my BOGO voucher at the Intercontinental Marseille.

The Ambassador Certificate Rate says "Average Nightly Rate" is € 340.

However after clicking "book this room" and then "View Rate Description and Rate Rules" I can see that the first night is € 280 and the second night is € 400.

The rate description clearly states "Ambassador weekend night certificate redemption. Pay for first night and get the second night free" yet the price that is shown, even in the rate details, is € 340. I find that rather confusing.

Since the second night is supposed to be free, will I indeed be paying € 280 (i.e. the rate for the first night) or will they charge me € 340 ?
