I know their terms say you have to rent it for 2 days to get it for free. What I don't understand is, don't they like it when the car is returned early, which can be made available for the next customer for free? If so, why penalize a loyal customer?

I mean, they are willing to give it away for free for 2 days, but not for a few hours?
