I think what was meant was you can't redeem a HH voucher with a money off coupon (or at least, you should not be able to), not that you won't get a HH voucher for £40 spend net of a money off voucher.
sorry, just saw that...ya dont think you can unless you meet a nice cashier. One I met today would have done it coz he appeared very sleepy and yawning constantly. I had to tell him what to do...but my HH not valid til next week
