Hoped? Are you nuts? No, that flight, including the extra leg room for several Euro, cost about 35% of what i'd have paid for Alitalia. I refuse to throw money out of the window, even if it's not mine. Although I sacrificed lounge access through AZ.

The solution for anybody interested: take the free train to the North terminal and wait there or take the Gatwick Express for ~20 Pounds.
