Currently, AC is rewarding entities. I won't go into the details but I can assure you that.
An account spends $100.000. Lets say thats 5 SE statuses or 10 E75s, etc. They will then decide on how to allocate those statuses.
If an employee is truly valuable, the company should have no problem assigning one of the earned 5 SE statues to them.
The suggestion in the post above mine also works great. I am sure companies would love getting money back, again, which they can then spend as they see fit - including on those employees you keep saying give up so much to fly for work.
Yes, its a dream world, and it will never happen. But it would sure thin the herd of OPM elites who seem to be the most vocal and jumping for joy everytime a change like this happens. It would leave elite status, to those who truly earn it, including those who own their own busiensses, and/or fly for business, not just for work.
