JetBlue has 5 roundtrips daily between PHL and BOS. Prices vary, but for the days I checked for flights next month, fares were as long as $55 each way. I think that these flights can earn miles on AA (some JetBlue flights do, others don't), but I haven't checked to be sure.
I did not know about the JB/AA tie-in. How does one go about finding out which JB flights earn AA miles?
Also, I've been doing a bit more research - It seems that US has some kind of hub at LGA with hourly service to both BOS and PHL and connecting flights through that hub are roughly the same price as direct flights between PHL and BOS. That makes it a bit more attractive, as I'd at least earn a mid-tier status level on US/AA.
