No, I definitely enjoy the trip more. That being said, I love doing the planning, and I will waste hours dreaming up routings/trip ideas and researching the particulars. Likewise, I handle most of the planning/booking for my friends/family when they want to go somewhere because for whatever reason, I enjoy it.
