The mini-cabin worked for me the last few trips on AA50 & 51 in 3A, G and J; and this Friday I am exhausting my last SWU on a personal trip and am in row 4 on AA106 from JFK. I could select D or G seats in rows 11-13 but I’m staying put.

On AA 70/71 I’ve always been in the larger cabin on the right side J seats, and having a little more “room” perception laterally in the aisle is OK, but I’m equally OK with the mini seats. Have never had any issues with service.
