You obviously haven't read or didn't understand what this is about. UA the corporation has nothing to do with this, they have no skin in the game about the seniority list. It is the union (ALPA) that provided the integrated seniority list to UA, UA doesn't care what it looks like. They take the seniority list provided to them by ALPA and load it in to the crew scheduling system to generate lines of flying which the pilots bid on based on their seniority. UA is not "being held accountable" as you state, it is 6 pilots suing ALPA.
