almost every day there is a new thread opened up with the question what is the cheapest way to get my A3G status. Not rare those OP were new members, that usually did not take the time to search first by themselves, and ask for the cheapest possibility to get *G from their location…

Do we really need dozens of threads about the same topic? Of course, the fares from each locations are different, but there is a lot of information that has to be repeated in each single thread of this topic…

Therefore I propose that we create in this forum a new sticky thread on the top of the list. Unofficially we already have such a thread, but it is not stuck to the top: the following one: A3*G Challenge: who have the most creative routing to achieve *G in shortest time? I would merge this thread with all the same threads with same topic to get a database. Then creating an information page on the first post of the merged thread. Additional current information can also be published in the Wikipost of the thread.

I see the advantage in such a thread that we don’t have to begin from the beginning and can refer to an information page. This concentrated thread should help to make the forum bord easier to read and the information to be found better. Single threads may be more attractive as long as the fare deal exists, but then it loses it’s importance. And for actual fare deals we do have the mileage run deals forum.
