newbie here :D (questions about Virgin Atlantic)
hey guys,
so, just booked my first flight in over 14 years (I'm 19), although, I'm a little confused and not sure what to expect.
I booked an international Virgin Atlantic flight, but it's operated by Delta. While I have read about 4 different articles on what exactly that means, I'm still a little confused. I think it means that we'll be flying on Delta airlines, it just has the pretty Virgin Atlantic name? xD Mostly, I'm wondering if anyone else has taken a similar flight, and what we should expect. (: From reading recent reviews, I heard that Virgin has gone downhill, so mostly to expect small portions of crappy food (i already expected that), moderately rude/non existence service, and poor leg room. Especially since we're flying economy. Also we have about an hour connection in between flights, is that enough for international travel? I assume it would be or else they wouldn't offer it.
Either way our flight is:
Pittsburgh (pennsylva) PIT
New York JFK
Virgin Atlantic 4650 - Operated by Delta
New York JFK
London LHR Terminal 4
Virgin Atlantic 4003 - Operated by Delta
London LHR
New York JFK Terminal 4
Virgin Atlantic 4002 - Operated by Delta
New York JFK
Pittsburgh (pennsylva) PIT Terminal 2
Virgin Atlantic 4651 - Operated by Delta
(also, sorry if this is in the wrong place)
