The new Doubletree (a rebranded Ramada) is surprisingly modern. It is a long way from the airport - further than any of the other hotels served by the Hoppa buses - but as the bus that serves it only visits one other property, the journey is probably no slower.

It is in a residential area so a lot of restaurants and small shops literally outside the door.

My Mum stayed her recently as part of a group booking. I went along to say Hi and was impressed.
