There are some times when it does fill up a bit, Mondays is a bad day, Saturdays tend to be empty especially in the afternoon, ski time, half terms ((both during and around it). If a few flights get delayed by 30 minutes or so then that significantly adds to the numbers, particularly if it's places like GVA, FRA or EDI. It seemed busier just after the BMI status match was rolled out and there were comments here then.
Well, YMMV, but I have found that, in addition to the usual 'heavy' periods (Monday morning, Friday afternoon, any afternoon when the bulk of the US flight head out) it is just more 'load heavy' than it was a year ago. Spaces to sit are at a premium, wine bottles are empty, snaking queues outside the toilets...manybe I'm just unlucky...
