I'm renting a car in Italy and Turkey. I know Italy is a mandatory CDW and Theft Insurance country, meaning you are required to buy the CDW and Theft and cannot decline it regardless if your credit card gives you insurance. You can even book a car in Italy without the CDW and Theft and you'll be charged when you get there, so it's better to book with the them so you don't get ripped off.

I'm booking a rental in Turkey and it looks like Turkey may be the same way, anybody know. Dollar rent a car has the CDW attached, so I'm just trying to figure out what's going on.

So is Turkey, like Italy with mandatory CDW and Theft.
